Hong Kong Homeless Dog Shelter delivered a 60-minute interactive talk titled “Love Animals” at our school. The session featured a moving rescue video, Hong Kong stray animal facts, key challenges they face, and real before-and-after rescue stories, with photos and videos.
Students learned responsible ways to help—such as safely reporting injured animals, choosing adoption over purchasing, understanding the benefits of spaying and neutering, and taking simple actions like volunteering, donating, or raising awareness.
Through this programme, students gained deeper empathy for animals in need, a clearer understanding of local animal welfare issues, practical knowledge on how to respond appropriately to stray situations, and inspiration to make kinder, more responsible choices for a more compassionate community. 🐾
