English Language Teacher (Contract)
Job duties and responsibilities include:

  • A recognized university degree or equivalent qualification. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant majors and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education.
  • Proven teaching experience at DSE level, preferably in an EMI school setting. Position and rank will commensurate with qualification and experience.  For the English Teacher position, EDB's Language Proficiency Requirement attained.
  • A pass in the Basic Law and National Security Law Test (BLNST), and a clear result in the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC).
  • Meet all appointment requirements stipulated by the Education Bureau for the applied position.

 

Japanese & Korean Interest Class Tutor
Job duties and responsibilities include:

  • To conduct interest class in accordance with the school timetable  
  • To prepare teaching materials and lesson plans  
  • To aid in related class activities as required by the school 
  • Proficiency in Japanese / Korean 
  • Relevant experience in teaching Japanese / Korean, preferably at secondary school level  
  • Ability to plan and deliver lessons from beginner to intermediate level, and to manage a class independently  
  • A strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and the ability to work cooperatively with school staff
  • Applicants must pass the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC)

English Supply Teacher
Job duties and responsibilities include:

  • Willingness to work collaboratively with co-teachers and NETs
  • Perform teaching duties

 

Remarks:

  • Relevant degree and recognized teaching qualification (PGDE) or equivalent
  • Have met the EDB's Language Proficiency Requirement (LPR) of teaching English in secondary schools
  • Pass in the Basic Law & National Security Law Test

 

Part-time Teaching Assistants (TA) – Mathematics

Job duties and responsibilities include:

  • Preparing learning materials;
  • Assisting additional and remedial classes;
  • Handling general administrative work;
  • Assisting in external mathematics competitions.

 

Remarks:

  • Attained relevant degree and experience working in a school environment will be advantageous;
  • Salary or hourly wage depends on education and experience.

 

Subject-specific After-school Support Tutors

S1-S3 Mathematics Supplementary Class: [Scheduled to start: November; approx. 15 sessions]

  1. S5-S6 BAFS Supplementary Class: [Scheduled to start: October; approx. 10 sessions]
  2. S2-S3 Chinese Supplementary Class; Senior Secondary Chinese Elite & Supplementary Classes (F.4: Elite; F.5: Elite & Supplementary) [Scheduled to start: October; approx. 10 sessions]
  3. S5 & S5/6 Economics Elite Class: [Scheduled to start: September; approx. 10 sessions]
  4. S1–S3 English Remedial Classes: [Scheduled to start: October; approx. 10 sessions] 

 

Requirements:

  1. Level 5 or above in HKDSE in relevant Subjects
  2. Able to teach in Chinese/English
  3. Teaching or tutoring experience preferred
  4. May be required to prepare relevant teaching materials
  5. Instruct students in group settings
  6. Applicants must pass the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC)

 

Remarks:

  • Salary or hourly wage depends on education and experience.

資歷要求:

  1. 具小學或以上程度；
  2. 具學校工作經驗優先考慮；
  3. 具一般安裝及維修學校器材或家具知識或有水、電牌優先考慮；

 

工作範疇:

  1. 負責一般校舍清潔、搬運、雜務及外勤工作；
  2. 其他學校指派工作；
  3. 協調進行安全檢查，適時報告與學校設施安全名保安有關情況，且協助跟進校內設施維修。
