Supported by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council and organized by the Yao Yueh Chinese Music Association, Silk Road Rhapsody: Time and Glory brought the rich heritage of the Silk Road to life through contemporary Chinese orchestral music.

On 3 October 2026, our students attended the performance with tickets subsidized by the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong. Hearing these pieces live gave students a hands-on feel for the distinct sounds, textures, and storytelling of Chinese instruments. Beyond sharpening their listening skills, the concert offered a vivid connection to the history and traditions of the Silk Road, deepening their appreciation for Chinese culture and heritage.
